Philly basketball fans may be in for a treat one day if this ever comes to fruition. Legendary Sixer Allen Iverson reportedly told Rachel Nichols, during an interview on Headliners, that he’d like to join the 76ers organization, bringing his talents and knowledge of basketball back to Philly. According to reports, Iverson said: “My role there is nowhere near what I think it’s supposed to be… I love that organization for everything they did for me… I want to give them more of what I have… My role there is nowhere near where I think it should be… I love…

Quarterback Lamar Jackson went OFF on a “disrespectful” reporter after the Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, in what was definitely one of the best games of the weekend. The final score was 33-19 and it felt a lot worse than that as Brock Purdy played like Mr. Irrelevant, tossing FOUR interceptions and getting replaced by Sam Darnold! Maybe it was a potential injury check, or maybe it was the four interceptions. We won’t ever know, will we? The reporter who talked too much trash and got owned after the game was ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio…

America has been dealing with a ‘woke’ problem that’s causing controversy left and right with identity politics, gender problems, and many social issues that have Americans fed up and wanting things to go back to ‘normal.’ One of the big problems was highlighted when Bud Light partners with a man who wears makeup and acts like a woman. That was a marketing disaster that caused their company to lose a lot of money and teach marketing experts a lesson on what NOT to do. Not all press is good press, and the Bud Light marketing disaster was a perfect example…

The Cleveland Browns and NY Jets are not the same. One of these teams signed 38-year-old QB Joe Flacco who says he can still play. He’s a veteran who won a Super Bowl, so he knows his way around the field a little bit. This took place after Deshaun Watson went down with season ending surgery after injuring his right shoulder. The Jets are another story. They thought nothing would possibly go wrong with Aaron Rodgers, but that lasted like 4 minutes and they were stuck with Zach Wilson. Fast forward all these miserable games until now and they’re finally…

Make it make sense. The Atlanta Braves will host the 2025 All-Star game just four years after it was moved out of Truist Park over to Denver’s Coors Field all thanks to stupid politics. The move out of Atlanta was because of changes in Georgia voting rights laws, but that was politics and had nothing to do with sports, so the All-Star Game should have never been moved in the first place. And here we are, four years later, putting the All-Star Game back in Atlanta – which is basically the league admitting what they did was STUPID and UNCALLED…

Looks like Deshaun Watson will be on his back again, but this time not at a massage parlor! The Cleveland Browns quarterback will have season ending surgery on his throwing shoulder, the team said. Watson suffered this injury during the Browns comeback victory against the Baltimore Ravens where they won 33-31. Watson also suffered a high ankle sprain in the same game. Watson has a broken bone in his right shoulder and the surgery is so he doesn’t injure it any further, like with the structure of his body and things like that. The Browns said Watson “wanted to be…

It looks like the Orlando Magic have themselves a very special player in Jonathan Isaac. He’s been very busy launching “the first basketball sneaker with visible Bible verses” and this shows he’s putting his mind and money into something that’s very dear to him, and also very useful to basketball players looking for a hot new shoe to wear on the hardwood floors while they’re dishing passes and putting up buckets. Jonathan Isaac posted a message on his X profile talking about the launch of the first basketball sneaker with visible Bible verses. That inspirational message stated the following: “Most…

Sports fans everywhere have been shaking their head after hockey player Adam Johnson had his neck slashed by a skate and died right on the ice. Police in South Yorkshire (England) announced an arrest in connection with a man suspicious of manslaughter, but they didn’t specify the man’s name. Many people speculate that man could be hockey player Matt Petgrave whose skate went high enough to slash Adam Johnson on the neck. It’s obviously unclear if the kick was intentional or not, but if it’s a manslaughter charge, that means Petgrave likely did not mean for his skate blade to…

MMA fighter Sean Strickland has a serious question for everyone out there. And no, he’s not kidding just because he wrote LOL at the end of the question. He’s turning heads, getting thousands of comments in response, and even suggested he’s gonna get some hate for it – but he said it anyway. Strickland asked on X: “I’m gonna get some hate on this but I’m honestly curious. When did America start to suck? Was it letting women work? Do we need to put you all back in the kitchen? Have you guys ever been in a major city and…

Soccer player Megan Rapinoe is no stranger to criticism and she’s at it once again. Rapinoe, 38, was injured in a non-contact incident during the third minute of her final game and she made comments about God during some post-match interview and now the Internet is basically on fire in comment sections all across the galaxy. Rapinoe fell over, called for help, and later suggested she may have torn her Achilles. That sucks. No one deserves to be injured, but no one needs to make stupid comments like this either. Rapinoe said: “Pretty sure I tore my Achilles, so the…

The Philadelphia 76ers are on a roll right now with a record of 8-1 after getting rid of that bum James Harden who seems to ruin just about every team he steps on. Clippers, how you doing right now? Oh, that’s right. Anyway, star guard Tyrese Maxey scored his career-high 50 points in the Sixers win over the Indiana Pacers, winning 137 to 126 in a high scoring match-up. Maxey, the NJ native, used his postgame message to dedicate the win to his teammate, Kelly Oubre Jr., who was hit by a car in Philly last week. Oubre  suffered broken…

You gotta love and hate this trending sports story all at the same time. Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher is expected to take a $76 million buy out to take a hike. This is nearly triple the previously highest known coaching buyout at any public school. Pretty crazy right? Imagine getting paid millions to NOT WORK! BOOM! EPIC. Fisher will be a very rich man for a very dumb reason. Would you be a happy millionaire going home and knowing you didn’t reach your potential, which sounds like the reason Texas A&M wants to cut ties. Or would you want…

Quarterback Mac Jones got benched in Germany during the New England Patriots 10-6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Talk about embarrassing though! The guy gets benched in another country and his team loses in a low scoring game that probably had German football fans wishing the NFL stayed home. So they went to the other side of the planet to put up 16 total points? Yep, that really happened. Mac Jones put up 15/20 for 170 yards and an interception. Colts’ Gardner Minshew went 18-28 and one interception. The only touchdown was by Jonathan Taylor in the first quarter. There…

Cincinnati Bengals stud quarterback Joe Burrow showed up to the stadium in another team’s jersey before his football game, but there’s a really awesome reason WHY Joe Burrow showed up to the Bengals game in this totally different color shirt and I think you’re gonna love why. The Houston Texans drafted an unbelievable rooking quaterback in C.J. Stroud. Stroud bested Baker Mayfield and the Bucs, posting a 30/24, 470 yards, 5 TD, 0 INT stat line. Now that’s big time, baby! To make things even better for me, I had Tank Dell in my starting lineup on fantasy football and that last second game-winning touchdown was awesome for me too! They gave the Bucs just 6 seconds to play…

Defensive end Chase Young was traded to the San Francisco 49ers from the Washington Commanders. Young found out he was traded on social media, before the team officially let him know. This is probably the most disrespectful way a player can find out they’ve been shipped to another team. Young was traded for a 3rd round draft pick. After the trade, there was mumbles of what Chase Young was like behind the scenes, with some sources suggesting he was ‘undisciplined’ and would deviate from a game plan in hopes to make a ‘splash play.’ Other commentators suggest he’s a great…
