On the run, Bucs linebacker Devin White yanked him down on a horse-collar tackle from behind, causing Winston’s knee to bend awkwardly. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, tests revealed a torn ACL as well as MCL damage.

What happens to Winston next will be an intriguing story. He had a one-year contract, but the injury could hinder his future plans. That is something the Saints will address later. 

Reportedly, Taysom Hill will most likely be up next. He’s been out since suffering a severe concussion three weeks ago, but he’s expected to return this week.
