College Athlete Day is for NCAA champions to visit the White House and be honored for being awesome, but there’s a catch. President Joe Biden’s White House is requiring people to mask up and social distance if they are unvaccinated during the event, even though the national emergency ended in April, according to a sports news article on NY Post.
NY Post gathered information from an email that said:
“Masking Guidance: Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask on the White House grounds,” the email reads. “Guests who are not fully vaccinated must wear a mask at all times and maintain at least 6 feet distance from others while on the White House grounds.”
However, not everyone was pleased with this decision and Twitter users let the White House know how they feel. Some of those replies from social media are below:
Trump would’ve had the White House filled with Happy Meals and I’m OK with that.

It is not an honor to visit the White House at this time anyway. Boycott their disingenuous and conditional invitation.

Why would all these athletes be interested in visiting a nursing home?
