Trent Dilfer, the “worst coach in America,” got fired

Former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Trent Dilfer has been FIRED by the University of Alabama at Birmingham after a rough start to his third season.
The 53-year-old coach was let go following Saturday’s heavy loss to Florida Atlantic, where the Blazers dropped to 2-4 on the season and landed at the bottom of the AAC after a crushing 53-33 defeat. Meanwhile, a former NFL player turned ESPN analyst faced backlash and was urged to “have some class” over remarks about a college athlete.
Dilfer, who was hired before the 2023 season, struggled to revive the program and ended his tenure with a 9-21 record. Once a Baltimore Ravens player who was carried by their defense, he’s now being labeled the “worst coach in America” during his awful coaching stint. Really not off to a great start there, is he!
Social media sports fans have labeled Trent Dilfer the “worst coach in America” and the “worst quarterback to win a Super Bowl.”
I guess the defense couldn’t carry Trent this time!
