Teamsters is getting ratioed on X because of this. They claimed they're not making an endorsement for president in the 2024 election. However, the phone poll shows 59% support Donald Trump in the Teamsters electronic member poll. The research phone poll says 58% support Donald Trump as well.
It's very odd that two polls say 58% or higher in favor of Donald Trump, and Kamala Harris is struggling to get half of those numbers. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris is struggling to get half of those numbers within the same polls. So why isn't Teamsters making an official endorsement? It seems like they don't want to make an official endorsement and deal with the Democratic Party's potential retaliation. But, at the same time, Teamsters wants to show everyone who their members are voting for. It's like an unofficial endorsement by doing this, in my opinion.
