RFK Jr posted a response to a TIm Walz video where the vice-presidential candidate suggested "there's no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech." RFK Jr. reminded Tim Walz that there's a Constitution. Now just to clear things up, this does not mean people support misinformation or hate speech, however the 1st Amendment protects all speech.
As another reminder, there are sometimes consequences for the things we say. So in that regard, we should be mindful of what we say, while still remembering that we have the freedom of speech and power to say anything we want within the confines of the law. People are worried that someone like Tim Walz would start to police speech, just like Gavin Newsom is trying to do in California with his bogus laws on parody. And if Tim Walz needs to be reminded that we have freedom of speech, then he belongs NO WHERE near any position in the American government. Our founding fathers put this in place for a reason and we need to keep it there.
