Here’s what happened with Antonio Brown before mid-game meltdown; report says

Antonio Brown is no longer a Buc. Since Brown arrived in Tampa, his behavior was often controversial, but the tenure got a wild finale during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

He allegedly refused to play in the game after stating that he felt too injured to enter the field. Other reports claim he was benched, so reports have been conflicting thus far.

Brown, who has been limited in practice and out for several weeks due to an ankle ailment, argued with the Buccaneers’ offensive staff and Bruce Arians, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Brown removed his clothes on the sidelines, threw his undershirt into the crowd, and then walked to the locker room, cutting through the field as the Buccaneers and Jets lined up for a play.

Later, Bruce Arians told NBC Sports’ Peter King that the scenario was a disgrace and that he felt awful for Brown. Mike Evans, a teammate, attempted but failed to stop Brown’s outburst.

After Brown was accused of rape, violence, and robbery of a delivery truck driver and had the police called to his residence on many occasions in 2019 and early 2020, the Bucs’ choice to bring him in before the 2020 season was viewed as questionable. Brown has also received a three-game ban this season for falsifying his COVID-19 immunization card.

It looks like, after this scandal, his time with the team has finally come to an end.
