Female boxer withdrew from match against biological male

A female boxer is once again making waves after her withdraw from a bout against a transgender woman, aka a biological male. This took place last year, but this viral sports story is circulating the Internet once again as the push to protect women’s sports heats up with real women athletes like Riley Gaines.

The real woman’s name is Katia Bissonnette and she opted out of fighting Mya Walmsley, a biological male fighting women. Bissonnette said, “My coach suddenly took me aside and told me he received information by text message, which he had then validated, that my opponent was not a woman by birth.” (source)

Boys and men competing against girls and women has become an issue in America and woke people are allowing women’s sports to be infiltrated by biological males, eroding the sole purpose of having a “women’s” league in the first place. The women’s leagues are for real women and should not be ruined for the sake of someone’s ‘identity’ problems. Most Americans will agree with this, but too many people are silently watching women lose their competitions to males.

Everything from championships to the possibility of a college scholarship goes potentially out the window when females are forced to compete against males. Look how many swim meets someone like Lia Thomas, a male, took away from the real women competing at college level swimming. These girls are missing an opportunity for the sake of gender identity and that’s not OK.
