In a grand jury indictment revealed today, Combs has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The allegations are part of an extensive indictment that claims Combs operated a criminal enterprise that engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor, interstate transportation for purposes of prostitution, and other serious offenses, including kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice since 2008.
Combs, 54, was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel on West 57th Street in Manhattan, where he had been living for several weeks. The arrest, executed by federal agents on Monday evening, was based on this sealed indictment from the Southern District of New York, which was then unsealed the following day.
