Actor Robert De Niro was on "Realtime with Bill Maher" and made a really insane statement about former President Donald Trump. De Niro said: "If he wins the election, you won't be on the show anymore. He will come looking for me. There'll be things that happen that none of us can imagine. That what happens in that kind of a dictatorship."
This could be De Niro's most wild take yet, because there's no reason or way that a president would go after a specific actor. It just doesn't make any sense and it makes Rober De Niro look like he's having a Trump Derangement Syndrome moment. Trump lashes out at leftist celebrities all the time, but it's verbal and on social media. Trump isn't going around locking up actors or getting into physical altercations with them.
We're chalking this one up to Robert De Niro being a fearmongering leftists who's just talking bad about Donald Trump but doesn't base his claims in any sort of reality or common sense. He's just talking down about a guy he dislikes, but it's not rooted in reality at all.
