The town council of the small Colorado town of Monument, which sits between Colorado Springs and Denver, just decided unanimously to reject becoming a sanctuary city and affirm its designation as a non-sanctuary city. The move came after Denver, a sanctuary city, suffered under such an influx of illegal immigrants that its mayor admitted it is hitting the “breaking point.”
