Independent websites like ours are held to high fact-checking standards. That's fine because we should always report the truth, even if it's against the political nature of our own website. TIME just got 'Community Noted' on X for suggesting it was 'unclear' what the would-be Trump assassin's political ideology was. He recently voted Democrat and he tried to murder former President Donald Trump. Most people would suggest that his political ideology was fairly clear. Collin Rugg discussed it more and showed a screenshot of the TIME account being fact checked.
