Teacher accused of sleeping with 16-year-old and telling co-worker about it

You're not gonna believe this, but it happened again. Another female teacher is accused and charged with sleeping with a student. And this one's loose lips sank the ship, because she allegedly told another teacher about it.

Jocelyn Sanroman, a former teacher at Oakside Prep Academy in Michigan, is charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a teenage student, according to Oakland County Prosecutor Karen D. McDonald.

According to McDonald, Sanroman had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy in 2023 and allegedly told another teacher that she was having sex with the student.

“This defendant is accused of using her position of authority to exploit a minor victim,” McDonald said. “These allegations represent the ultimate breach of trust placed in educators by parents and the community. As a former teacher myself, I applaud the teacher who contacted police about this situation, protecting other students from further exploitation.”
