NEW report from Collin Rugg on X: A Vermont substitute teacher has been cited after allegedly being so drugged out during class that she thought one of her students was her dog. 47-year-old Melissa Martin is accused of bringing cocaine onto Barre Town Middle & Elementary School campus. "The incident was reported to school staff after a student noticed Martin’s unusual behavior," a police spokesperson said. "Martin had admitted to school administration that she had cocaine in her jacket pocket, which was located in the classroom she had been teaching in." The teacher allegedly started referring to one of the students as 'Teddy,' the name of her dog, after running out of the classroom.
