The PGA just got amped up with a linebacker style tackle that pro golfer Adam Hadwin had no idea was about to happen. It all took place when PGA golfer Nick Taylor sank a 72-Foot Eagle putt to secure victory in the 2023 RBC Canadian Open. Adam Hadwin, his buddy, thought it was a great idea to spray his pal with champagne, but a security guard took him down like it was 4th and goal and he couldn’t let the other team score.
Hadwin, dressed in street clothes, was spraying Taylor with champagne one moment and laying on his back with a big burly security guard on top of him the next moment. The security guard didn’t realize Hadwin was a golfer, thought it was just some random golf fan who showed up with the bubbly. And the best part is it’s all caught on video. Watch it below:
As for Nick Taylor’s exciting finish, Bleacher Report stated something else that was interesting:
The 2023 Canadian Open came to a dramatic conclusion on Sunday as Nick Taylor sank a 72-foot eagle putt on the fourth playoff hole to defeat Tommy Fleetwood and earn his third PGA Tour victory… With the win, Taylor is now the first Canadian golfer to be victorious at the Canadian Open since 1954.
Should golf have security tackle more people to make things more interesting? It’s been quite a week in golf, that’s for sure. Fans are still up in the air about how to feel with PGA and LIV merging.
How do YOU feel about it?
