I don’t think ESPN’s Senior NFL Insider, Adam Schefter, meant for this to be THAT funny, but it sure was. He was talking about Odell Beckham Jr’s contract (before signing with the Rams) and posted the following message on Twitter that sparked a bunch of jokes flying around left and right.
Schefty said “Browns officially placed Odell Beckham Jr. on waivers today; other teams can claim him and the $7.25 remaining on his contract Tuesday by 4 pm.” Well, that’s when people started cracking jokes about the $7.25 and making it seem like Odell was owed less than a whole ten bucks! LOL!! Obviously they’re talking about millions, but you know how the Internet is!
