The Phillies vs Braves game 4 of the NLDS has been moved to 8:07 pm on Thursday night, October 12. The Phillies manhandled the Braves last night, crushing six homers and winning by a score of 10-2 in Citizens Bank Park in South Philly. The Phillies have a 2-1 lead in the NLDS and could close out the best of five series with a victory tonight.
The crowd was absolutely electric and played a huge part in the victory, teaming up with the epic bats of the Phillies players and giving the Braves something they can’t handle – real fans and too much firepower! But hey, not the kind of firepower you see in North Philly where people are having shootouts, that’s the kind of firepower we’re trying to reduce in Philly as we deal with crime problems over here. And can we say how awesome it was to watch Bryce Harper with the stare down after the Braves player tried talking trash about him? They poked the wrong bear, boy!
Why was the time changed? Well, it happened right after the Arizona Diamondbacks swept the LA Dodgers in their series, so maybe the time change is related to that. I guess since there’s only one game tonight, that maybe they wanted it in prime time hours for more ratings and ad money. That’s just my guess. I’m no genius, that’s for sure.
Keep your eyes peeled on the pitching tonight. I think it will be Ranger Suarez taking on Spencer Strider. And for all the fans out there, keep up the great work. Even if the Phillies get down on the score, do NOT let up. Stand tall for the entire game and make sure your Phillies players know you have their back no matter what. Keep up that electric energy no matter what! Here’s some Phillies/Braves highlights from game 3:
