NASCAR fans were definitely NOT chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” after Brandon Brown got his first his Xfinity Series race victory. Instead, the fans had a message for President Joe Biden as they chanted “F–k Joe Biden” – a famous chant that’s been taking sports by storm, particularly college football with tons of young Americans expressing how much they dislike this useless potato sitting in office.
Even better is that when Brandon Brown was giving his victory interview, a reporter actually told him they were saying “Let’s Go Brandon” and it’s very obvious that the fans were NOT saying that. Like, not even close. Nice try, reporter! NASCAR posted a video of the interview and then deleted it from Twitter. Fox News asked about that, but says they didn’t receive a response immediately:
The anti-Biden chants came during Brown’s post-race interview. After Brown told a reporter his victory was a “dream come true,” the crowd began to loudly shout in unison their displeasure with the president.
The reporter acknowledged the chants and claimed the fans were shouting “Let’s go Brandon!”
NASCAR initially posted video of the interview with the chant but later deleted the tweet.
Fox News reached out to NASCAR to ask why the post was taken down but did not immediately receive a response.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that NASCAR fans are awesome! They have no shame, no guilt, and all the fun. Rock on, party people!! I need to get myself down to Dover for a race and tailgate. I heard NASCAR tailgates are nothing but a good time, so sounds like it’s well worth it.
And even though NASCAR pulled the interview from their Twitter account, they probably did it for PR reasons. You gotta think the people over there running the show probably thought it was quite humorous, at least I did.
