During a 126-116 Los Angeles Lakers overtime win against the Indiana Pacers, LeBron James pointed at some Pacers fans and got them ejected in his first game back from his one-game suspension for hitting Detroit Pistons forward Isiah Stewart.
With 2:29 left in overtime, LeBron brought the referees over to two fans sitting courtside at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and angrily pointed at them and yelling: “This one right f**king here!”
A young man and woman were then politely asked to leave the arena, and while exiting, the female fan was shown on the broadcast doing a sarcastic pout and rubbing away fake tears, basically making fun of LeBron James even on her way out.
Rumors suggest that the unruly fans shouted things like “I hope Bronny [LeBron’s son] dies in a car wreck.”
James said that he was excited to be in the lineup after his one-game suspension, adding: “Me not playing last night on the second night of a back to back, I knew I could kind of give our guys a boost of energy with me not playing last night.”
Despite what the fans might have said (and it being very inappropriate) LeBron James continues to be one of the most hated NBA players to date.
