Are NFL football fans ready to take the NY Jets serious yet? The Jets, 7-10 in 2022, are feeling confident now that quarterback Aaron Rodgers is taking the lead, making Zach Wilson take a backseat and have more time to deal with mama drama.
ESPN did a report talking about linebacker CJ Mosely saying the narrative in New York has shifted for the Jets players who think they have a target on their back, but in reality, it could happen because Aaron Rodgers only needs to win three extra games to get the Jets to a 10-7 record. Likely, possible because their schedule may be a bit more friendly than it was last year.
When it comes to CJ Mosley, who was quoted in an ESPN story saying: “That’s exactly what we want… We want people to give us everything they have. We want to go to other people’s stadium and hear every single thing they have to say so we can shut them up after the game is over. That’s what it’s going to take to win a Super Bowl. That’s what it’s going to take to grow as a team.”
Aaron Rodgers is a significant upgrade in quarterback than anyone the Jets threw out there last year. Rodgers has a Super Bowl victory and years of playoff experience he’s bringing to New York, all along with his subtle weirdness and bizarre sideshow news blips. And don’t forget, Allen Lazard is there in New York with Aaron, so the QB/WR chemistry is already there.
I DO think it’s possible the Jets make a three game increase with Aaron Rodgers, but the coaching has to be on point and the players have to rally around their newfound leader.
Zach Wilson’s mom’s friends should probably stay out of the stadium, but that’s just a joke to go along with the rumors that Zachy-boy was hooking up with one of them.
