SoFi Stadium was full of punches this weekend when the Cowboys visited the Chargers, dealing them a loss in football while fights were breaking out all over the place. We’re talking about a pre-game fight between the Chargers players and Cowboys players. Then of course, football fans were fighting all over the stadium. I guess that’s what happens when two sub-par teams get together and the fans are just angry.
The Cowboys barely won by a score of 20-17. The Cowboys are 4-2 and look average. They’re solid on defense, but you never know which Dak Prescott shows up. Is it the quarterback who throws three interceptions and gets pulled in the 4th quarter, or is it the guy who can manage a game and squeeze in a rushing touchdown on the day? Seems like the Chargers, now 2-3, got the latter. The only hope the Chargers have is that Austin Ekeler stays healthy from here out, but is that really possible with running backs these days if they’re taking such a beating?
You can thank Kevin Walsh for recording the fight from the stands at the Chargers and Cowboys game. This incident broke out in his section and he got it on video for the rest of the world to see. Warren Sharp had the video scoop showing the players fighting before the game even started. I guess that just trickled right up into the audience! Not that it’s a good thing, but here’s the video if you were so interested:
