Twitter billionaire Elon Musk is ready to fight Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg. Elon has been joking about it on Twitter for a few days, suggesting he’d want it in an octagon in Las Vegas. Elon also said he doesn’t workout much, if ever, but he’s got a secret move called ‘The Walrus’ where he lays on top of his opponent and does nothing.
How does Mark Zuckerberg stand up against the clearly nonathletic body of Elon Musk? Well, Zuck has some training experience and was recently in tournaments. If you stand them side by side, Musk might look like he’s got a physical advantage, but Zuck will probably take him out in the first round. But to be honest, if they really do this, then it is likely a charity exhibition and it will last the length of the bout for entertainment purposes.
BBC reported on the Musk vs Zuck cage match in a sports news article saying:
He also tweeted: “I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids & throwing them in the air.”
Meanwhile, 39-year-old Mr Zuckerberg has already been training in mixed martial arts (MMA) and has recently won jiu-jitsu tournaments.
Twitter did not provide a statement when contacted by the BBC for comment.
The exchanges have gone viral with social media users debating who would win the bout, while others have posted memes including mocked up posters advertising the fight.
I would love to watch Elon Musk fight Mark Zuckerberg in a cage match because it would be the most obnoxious event we’ve seen in a long time. I can almost guarantee that this would have more viewers in one minute than the WNBA championship. There’s just no way that the whole planet won’t be tuned into this circus.
Two billionaire nerds who own social media platforms that people call out for censorship fighting each other – what could possibly go wrong with that? Watching two goofy white nerds slap each other in the face should be pretty funny, at the very least.
