Meanwhile, a former NFL player turned ESPN analyst faced backlash and was urged to &#8220;have some class&#8221; over remarks about a college athlete.<\/p>\n<p>Dilfer, who was hired before the 2023 season, struggled to revive the program and ended his tenure with a 9-21 record. Once a Baltimore Ravens player who was carried by their defense, he&#8217;s now being labeled the &#8220;worst coach in America&#8221; during his awful coaching stint.
