A college football game that went into overtime thanks to a 60-yard field goal had something else happen that no one expected.<\/p>\n<p>Oregon State\u2019s Everett Hayes nailed a record breaking 60-yard field goal to force overtime against Colorado and just as the ball sailed through the goalposts, it nailed a cheerleader on the head. She was definitely not expecting that and she wasn&#8217;t even facing the field. She was facing the crowd and doing her job as the ball literally came out of nowhere and just booped her on the back of the head.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see in the video, it looks like she keeps going. Hopefully she&#8217;s alright!<\/p>\n<p>As for the game &#8211; Oregon State and Colorado went into double overtime and Colorado came through with an upset, winning with a score of 37-34.<\/p>\n<p>WATCH IT HAPPEN:<\/p>\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cheerleader gets hit in the head on 60 yard field goal\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WIRCKkqj8Ug?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2021\/11\/06\/colorado-buffs-upsets-oregon-state-double-overtime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Denver Post<\/a> stated: <em>CU won the game on true freshman Cole Becker\u2019s 43-yard field goal, which came shortly after Hayes missed a 38-yarder in the second OT. \u201cThat\u2019s the moment that all kickers dream about that, right there,\u201d Becker said. \u201cAnd I\u2019m so proud of the way this team rallied.\u201d The Buffs improved to 3-6 overall and 2-4 in the Pac-12.
