Former running back OJ Simpson has died, according to someone from his family who posted the following message on OJ’s X account:
On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer.
He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.

It’s unclear who wrote this, but it just happened today. In previous reports, OJ denied he was in hospice, but maybe he actually was – or he was about to be. OJ Simpson is best known for his stellar professional football career, running from the cops in a white Ford Bronco, and allegedly killing people – then going to trial for it and not being found guilty. He even wrote a book proclaiming his innocence, but many people who followed his trial were left unsure one way or the other if he did it or not. There wasn’t enough evidence to convict the former NFL running back of any murders.
