Megan Rapinoe said her injury in final game is “PROOF” there is no God

Soccer player Megan Rapinoe is no stranger to criticism and she’s at it once again. Rapinoe, 38, was injured in a non-contact incident during the third minute of her final game and she made comments about God during some post-match interview and now the Internet is basically on fire in comment sections all across the galaxy.

Rapinoe fell over, called for help, and later suggested she may have torn her Achilles. That sucks. No one deserves to be injured, but no one needs to make stupid comments like this either. Rapinoe said: “Pretty sure I tore my Achilles, so the worst possible outcome. I mean, just obviously devastating to go out in a final so early. I know it’s my last game and that is devastating as well, but to go out so early, that also changes things. It takes a sub off a bench. Taking one of your best players off the field is not ideal… I mean, I don’t deserve this, I’ll tell you that much. I’m not a religious person or anything, but if there is a God, this is proof that there isn’t.”

First of all, no one deserves to be injured – it just happens sometimes. Second, is she still a “best player” or is that something a narcissist would say? And her comments about God, no matter what you believe in, is that even remotely necessary? She knows that comment will cause a divide and spark criticism. She knows this will tick people off to the point they no longer want to watch women’s soccer.

It just serves no purpose other than to bring attention to herself, which is what we’ve noticed all throughout her career. Megan Rapinoe is an attention seeking narcissist. I wonder what makes her this way. Is she secretly miserable? Does she hate herself? Why do some people need to bring so much attention to themselves when they’re surrounded by teammates who deserve attention to?

This was just another bad take that will stain the career of Megan Rapinoe. If there’s one thing Megan should do, then it’s for her to be just be quiet. People are sick of her nonsense and it’s turning people away from soccer. Watch Megan Rapinoe’s interview video here:
