Female boxers slam decision to let biological males fight women

Frank BojaziJanuary 2, 2024Updated:January 19, 2024

Boxing fans are livid after learning about the woke “transgender policy” that will let biological male boxers fight women under certain conditions. Many female boxers are calling it out, and boxing fans all over the world are saying this will eliminate fairness and ruin the sport for women.’

The transgender policy that will allow biological males to step into a ring with female boxers has multiple conditions that the men must meet if they want to beat up women, but that’s not stopping anyone from criticizing this policy that could potentially disrupt the sport entirely – all to appeal to a very tiny fraction of fighters.

Some female boxers, such as Amanda Serrano, Ebanie Bridges, and Mikaela Mayer, are already speaking out against the transgender policy. Serrano said on X: “Make it make sense. Women who were born women can’t compete against women under the same rules as men according to the WBC. But men can identify as a woman, transition and then fight us women? All I want is equal opportunity for all. Our bodies. Our decision.”

Mayer said: “Hormone therapy is banned. By default this should make trans athletes ineligible for competition. Period. Doesn’t matter how you feel about the situation, fact is, it’s illegal and completely disrupts the even level playing field that sport works so hard to create.”

Ebanie Bridges said on X: “I don’t care about ‘political correctness; it’s politically incorrect to have a man fighting a woman and that’s exactly what it is. This society is too soft, this is our health and safety. The girls need to stick together or women’s sport in 50 years will be filled with male born champions.”

The criticism took a big hit when WBC’s president Mauricio Sulaiman said: “In boxing, a man fighting a woman must never be accepted regardless of gender change. There should be no grey area around this, and we want to go into it with transparency and the correct decisions.” Enjoy the video of Amanda Serrano boxing a real woman:
