Director of Colin Kaepernick Netflix special says NFL is a ‘racist institution’

This is Ava DuVernay and she’s the director of Colin Kaepernick’s Netflix special.

She is asked some questions during an interview and refers to the NFL as a racist institution.

WATCH her make the statement about the NFL, which I disagree with entirely:

 

If you asked me, I’d be the first one in line to be a million-dollar slave playing football and hanging out with the guys all day!

SIGN ME UP! I’ll play in the NFL if anyone wants to give up their roster spot. No matter what you think about Colin Kaepernick and his social justice stuff, this woman’s commentary is just ridiculous.

Anyway, I’ll be cheering on my Eagles this weekend – just not the coach. I can’t stand this coaching staff. They’re clueless.
